The digitalisation in higher education in association with the international cooperation in logistics and supply chain management

Abstract:
The study is to analyse the current situation of the fruitful collaboration amongst government agencies, international organisations and higher education institutions in satisfying the urgent demand for a well-qualified workforce associated with logistics in Vietnam. In addition, the paper concentrates on the analysis of the digital transformation through massive open online course platforms (MOOCs) and simulation technologies, particularly in the field of logistics and supply chain management, and how to implement these platforms in Vietnam during the harsh period of the Covid 19 pandemic. The final discussion is that the workable solutions in association with the flexible framework for enhancing the mutual cooperation amongst logistics enterprises, government authorities, public universities and private educational institutions will be considered carefully based on the objective criteria in order to promote digital transformation in education and training in the field of logistics and supply chain management in Vietnam.
